What it used to be like...

This ius my from when i first moved in, it was basically just stylised in this old tat kinda way, but from this i decided to explore my obsession with all things old and the ways in which creating unusual or unlivable enviroments can speak volumes about the human condition.

More images of bedroom installation

More photos! This is the recent stuff i have brought on top of the stuff i have been buying since September, it is safe to say its getting pretty fucking annoying to be surrounded by this much pointless crap...

These show my room before i cleaned it..... it gets so messy so quickly and when its like this is literally impossible to move in. Also check out the amount of tat i brought in the red box along with a guitar and beautiful phone table/seat all for £45 oh how i love the Ben Howard Charity Warehouse!

Updated Installation Photographs

The objects within the room no longer signify personal or cultural memory they are starting to adopt a more sinister significance. They now come to represent for me a sense of safety or comfort, a barricade, but for what?

This is a snap shot of the installtion, this was taken in January 2011, it has since developed to become more cluttered and full of found objects, it is now getting to the point of pointlessness as it is failing to function as a bedroom.

Argumentum Ad Absurdum: An Appeal Based on Absurdity

'Argumentum Ad Absurdum: An Appeal Based on Absurdity' is a project i have been working on since September 2010. I have constructed an installation in my own bedroom which dealt initially with the theme of memory, both personally and culturally. It has now become a curious portrait of my inner world. The juxtaposed mixture of personal belongings and the mass of found objects from junk shops, has created what seems like a bizarre safehouse for the overlooked and the undervalued.
